DEXLIT & DEXLIT PRO
Integrated yacht deck lighting, made to your design
DEXLIT builds light into the deck itself, in custom patterns and beneath a choice of surface materials. Choose warm or cool white lighting with DEXLIT, or specify DEXLIT PRO for RGBW color, dynamic scenes and interactive sensors.
Both systems are made to measure for new builds and refits. Illuminated contours, deck lines, logos and lettering become part of the surface without separate lighting fixtures projecting above it.

DEXLIT
DEXLIT white-light deck systems
DEXLIT provides warm or cool white lighting in a static pattern designed around the vessel. It can outline a bathing platform, follow deck contours, illuminate lettering or create a custom graphic within the surface.
The white-light product suits applications where the pattern and finish are the focus. The surface material is selected separately, allowing the lighting to be combined with a range of deck styles and construction requirements.
DEXLIT uses the CUBE control system, with app, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth operation and remote or control-panel options. Build height starts from 5 mm (0.20 in) in appropriate applications and is typically 13 mm (0.51 in) on bathing platforms.

DEXLIT PRO
DEXLIT PRO color and interactive lighting
DEXLIT PRO uses digital RGBW LEDs with individually controlled groups. Color, white light, brightness and animation can be varied across the deck, allowing different areas to carry separate scenes.
Integrated sensors respond to capacitive touch, vibration, music and motion. A gangway can light as someone crosses it, a deck can respond to music, or programmed signal colors can guide people along a defined route.
The surface and pattern remain fully customizable. PRO adds dynamic behavior to the modular deck system rather than restricting the design to a standard set of illuminated seams.
Scenes and sensors
Lighting that responds to how the deck is used
A calm arrival scene, a defined walkway and an animated event setting serve different purposes. PRO allows these treatments to be planned within the same installation, with zones and sequences selected through the control system.
Sensor positions and responses are designed for the project. Touch and motion can activate specific areas, while sound and vibration can trigger lighting changes. Dynamic features apply to PRO and ULTRA, not the white-light DEXLIT product.
PRO and ULTRA can incorporate capacitive touch, vibration, music and motion sensors. On a gangway, lighting can follow someone’s steps, while individual areas and responses are configured for the installation.

DEXLIT PRO / DEXLIT ULTRA lighting preview
A steady, dimmed white across every line. Suited to dinner, arrival or a calm evening at anchor.
Route guidance
Programmable route lighting
PRO and ULTRA can use programmed signal colors to identify escape routes or guide movement through defined areas. Sensor-activated lighting can also be used on gangways, stairs and walkways.
The function is configured for the vessel. It is not presented as a substitute for required certified emergency systems.

Materials and patterns
Materials, patterns and personalization
German LED, acrylic and light-guide technology is combined with the surface of your choice, including PVC decking such as PlasDECK, foam-resin decking, EVA, teak and other wood, resin, carbon or cork. Stone and tiles can be discussed on request.
Patterns can follow caulking lines and contours or use facets, Voronoi designs, hexagons, stripes and custom artwork. Yacht names, owner initials, shipyard logos and lettering can be incorporated into the illuminated design.
Foam-resin decking is available in Graphite, Gray, Ivory, Desert and Teak, with other colors and textures on request. These color options apply to that surface category rather than every material.
PVC decking is suitable for heeled shoes. EVA is softer, and stiletto heels should be avoided. Material choice also affects thickness and suitability for the intended area.

Controls
Control through the DEXLIT CUBE
The DEXLIT CUBE connects the deck modules to the onboard electrical system and handles control and updates. App operation is available for iOS and Android over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with remote and control-panel options.
PRO and ULTRA can be specified with DMX / Art-Net for lighting consoles, Alexa voice control, Philips Hue synchronization, Home Assistant and MQTT integration. Required connections and accessories are defined during project planning.
Compatible installations can synchronize several decks or vessels to common music and scenes. Firmware and sequence updates can be delivered without removing the modules.

Installation
Built for new projects and suitable existing decks
DEXLIT modules can be installed during a new build or fitted over a suitable existing surface. They are bonded or screwed into place, with the substrate, cable routes, thresholds, hatches and drainage checked during planning.
The deck must be clean, dry, level and load-bearing. Added height and weight are assessed for the application, and a protected position is required for the CUBE. Existing decks can usually remain, but suitability is confirmed for each project.
